DERRY - David Paul Raabe, 31, of Derry, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at his home. He was born on Aug. 3, 1981, in Mineola, N.Y., the son of Russel and Susan (Shahabian) Raabe. David was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, class of 2000. He worked for Best Buy in Manchester for more than 13 years as a home theater representative and was also a rep for Nutro Dog Food. He enjoyed volunteering for many of the Best Buy sponsored activities. David was a lover of animals and he participated in many Pet Walks and numerous other charitable events. He was very health conscious and enjoyed going to the gym.

He is survived by his parents, Russel and Susan Raabe of Derry; one sister, Suzanne Raabe of Westford, Mass., his aunts and uncles, David and Carol Raabe and their children of Albany, N.Y., and Kenneth and Sherry Shahabian and their children of Farmingdale, N.Y., as well as his beloved dog, Bailey.


SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry.
