EAST WINDSOR, Conn. - Judith B. (Alosa) Rajala, 48, of East Windsor, wife of David Rajala, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Hartford Hospital.

Judi was born in Concord, N.H., on Feb. 27, 1964 to Pasquale Alosa Jr. and Janet Allard Mosher.
Judi graduated from Derryfield School in Manchester, N.H., Colby Sawyer College, The University of Connecticut with a BA and Wesleyan University, Middletown, with a master's of arts and English.
Judi was the owner and operator of EduHound.com. She was also executive managing editor at 1105 Media Inc. and was an education technology specialist at the Capital Region Education Center in Connecticut. She was involved in several civic activities, including East Windsor Board of Education, East Windsor Town Facilities Committee chair and served as a justice of the peace. She had an amazing love of animals.
She is survived by her mother, Janet Allard Mosher of Manchester, N.H., her father Pasquale Alosa Jr. of Concord, N.H., and his partner Norrine Lincoln; her brothers, Matthew R. Alosa of Concord, N.H., and Michael Alosa of Florida. She is also survived by her children, Tom Brown, CJ Brown, Samantha Janet Brown and Sarah Rajala and her partner, Jennifer Roman, all of East Windsor. She also leaves a nephew, Joshua Leighton of Manchester, N.H. and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her father, Rodney Mosher.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary church on Loudon Road, Concord, N.H. The family will gather at Makris Restaurant in Concord, N.H., after the services.
