BOW - Addison E. "Andy" Grant, 77, died Dec. 15, 2012, at Westwood Care & Rehabilitation, following a brief illness.
He was born in Concord on Aug. 2, 1935, the son of Reuben and Thelma (Estes) Grant.
He had been a shop steward for the Breznar Tannery in Penacook. He served his country in the National Guard.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and watching the Red Sox and Patriots. His greatest love was spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family members include his wife of 51 years, Helen "Pat" Grant of Bow; two sons, Brian T. Grant and his wife Lori, of New Hartford, N.Y., Christopher M. Grant of Contoocook; one daughter, Laura Soucek and her husband Mike, of Laconia. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Autumn, Danielle, Ryan, Denny, Devin, Brittany, Savannah, Tyler, Caleb, Aliyah, Riley; and great-grandchildren Josh and Hailey. He was predeceased by a brother, Albert Grant.
services: Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. The funeral will take place at 11 a.m. in the funeral home following calling hours. Burial will be in the spring in Alexander Cemetery in Bow.
