GORHAM - Ann F. Vashaw, 76, of Gorham, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at her home.

She was born in Berlin on Nov. 12, 1936, and was a lifelong resident of the area. Ann graduated from St. Patrick High School and was a member of Holy Family Church. She had been employed by the New Hampshire Vocational Technical College and wintered for many years in Lake Wales, Fla.
Members of the family include her husband, Robert Vashaw of Gorham; children, Linda Morris and husband, John of Berlin, John Vashaw and wife, Jean of Berlin, Myrna Vashaw of New Boston and Tammy Vashaw of Berlin; grandchildren, John Morris and wife, Christine, Beth Williams and husband, Mike and Quentin Vashaw; great-granddaughters Emily, Grace, Courtney and Kiana; a special friend, Pam Ilg, of New Boston; sister, Betty Mercier of Gorham; stepbrother, Louis Guay of Rifle, Colo.; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Irene Hynes and brothers Gordon Jacques, Edward Jacques, Michael Guay and Gerard Jacques.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to AVH Auxiliary, Attn: Edwina Keene, 59 Page Hill Rd., Berlin, 03570.
