MANCHESTER - Anna H. Concannon, 90, of Manchester died Dec. 23 at Elliot Hospital after a period of failing health.

Born in Candia on Dec. 15, 1922, she was the daughter of John and Casa (Cuna) Hrycuna. She was raised in Candia and resided in Manchester most of her life. Mrs. Concannon earned an associate's degree from Hesser Business College. Until her retirement, she assisted her husband in the operation of Concannon Construction Company, the family business. She was a longtime communicant of Saint Pius X Church. For many years, she wintered in southwest Florida and spent summers on Pleasant Lake. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in the RV as well as gardening, crafts, and baking apple pies.

She was married for 43 years to John J. Concannon. He died May 12, 1989. Family members include her daughter, Janice L. Concannon of Manchester; two sons, John P. Concannon of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Kevin M. Concannon of Shewsbury, MA; three grandchildren, Debra, Jo-An, and Lauren; three great-grandchildren, Devin, Jordan, and Samantha; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved, dear friend, Rose Santoline.

SERVICES: A calling hour will be held Friday from noon to p.m. at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, corner of Concord Street, Manchester. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
