MANCHESTER - Anneliese (Seidl) Howard, 82, died on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at her residence in Manchester.

Mrs. Howard was born on Aug. 16, 1930, in Nurnberg, Germany, the daughter of the late Geborene and Amalie (Straub) Seidl. She was a resident of Manchester since 1955.

Before retiring, Mrs. Howard was employed for many years as a sales representative at Robert Halls clothing store and worked until the store's closing.

Mrs. Howard enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Members of her family include her daughter, Ingrid Howard, R.N., of Manchester, working at Elliot Hospital Pediatrics Unit, for 30 years, three grandsons, Ryan Gauthier of Maine, Nathan Gauthier of Jackson Hole, Wyo., Reagan Gauthier of Manchester; one great-grandson, Spencer Gauthier of Californina; with Ingrid's second marriage, step-grandchildren Jonathan, Kimberly, Karen, Kristen and Jeff Inferrere, including step-great-grandchildren Shay, Josie, Anthony and Tyler; sister-in-law Dot Bourque; brother-in-law Sonny Howard; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Howard was predeceased by her husband, Charles Howard, who died in 2008, and by her four brothers and one sister all who were residing in Germany.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers and interment will follow at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
