MANCHESTER - Christine S. Bean, 51, of Manchester died at her residence after a period of failing health.

She was born in Clovis, N.M., the daughter of Donald and Patricia (Cavanaugh) McGinnin.

She was raised in Manchester and educated in the local school system. Christine was a waitress at the former Bickford's Restaurant on Second Street for many years.

She was known for her care-free attitude and always doing things her way, but above all else she was devoted to her children.

Christine is survived by two sons, Matthew Bean and Joseph Bean, both of Manchester; a granddaughter; her mother, Patricia Bryan of Hooksett; a brother, Michael McGinnin of Hooksett; two sisters, Kathleen Borges of Manchester and Susan Poliquin of Shirtz, Texas; her companion, Fred Mayhew of Manchester; nieces, nephews and cousins.
