Connie was born Feb. 15, 1916, in Haverhill, Mass., but was a Portsmouth resident for 50-plus years. She was predeceased by the love of her life, husband Richard H. Jerauld. They enjoyed taking day trips and had many adventures together.
Connie was a fan of sports, including figure skating, golf and, most important, baseball. She was an avid Red Sox fan and never missed a game. She loved children and previously worked at Portsmouth's St. John's Episcopal Church daycare well into her 90s. She loved to read her newspaper and was always current on events.
Connie made award-winning braided rugs up until her passing, which she loved to give as gifts. Being very generous, she was always giving from the heart and loved doing things for others.
She spent the last 2½ years in the loving care of her youngest daughter and her husband.
She is survived by her son and three daughters, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
