NASHUA - David A. Twombley, 47, of Nashua died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center surrounded by family.

David was born in Elizabeth, N.J., on June 11, 1965, to Robert and Christine (Krauter) Twombley. He was raised in Nashua and educated in the Nashua school system.
He was married to Helen (Bardas) Twombley on June 13, 1987, and shared 25 years of marriage.
He is remembered for his admiration and love for his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren. He was the proud Papa of six grandchildren ranging in ages from 19 to 8.
David loved to work with his hands and create works of art. He was a skilled craftsman in many areas but loved working with wood and restoring furniture. He was an outdoorsman; mountain climbing, fishing, and hunting were among some of his favorites. On several occasions he enjoyed the outdoors with his late brother, Kenneth, who died on Nov. 20, 2012.
David also enjoyed playing the bagpipes.
David worked for Physical Support Systems for many years and at Lenscrafters as a lab technician.
Besides his loving wife and parents, David is survived by his children, his daughter, Amberleigh Roberts and her husband, Nathan of Nashua; his son, Jordan Twombley and his significant other, Melissa Moulton of Nashua; his beloved grandchildren: Kaley, Stephen, Jacob, Athena, Keith and Julia; his brother, William Twombley of Nashua; his brother -in-law William Bardas of Nashua; his sister-in-law Brenda Nunley of Nashua, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua, on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. Friends are invited to attend. Interment prayers and burial will be held in the spring at Lovell Lake Cemetery in Wakefield, at the convenience of the family. The Davis Funeral Home has been placed in charge of arrangements.
