MANCHESTER - Dawn A. O'Leary, 48, of Manchester died at home Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, following a period of declining health.

Dawn was born in Goffstown on March 13, 1964, the daughter of Donald and Joanne (Riel) O'Leary. She was raised in Auburn, and graduated from Central High School. She attended Hesser College and obtained an associate degree in interior design. Shortly after college she opened a wallpaper and painting business and eventually began working with the Manchester Housing Authority.

She truly loved spending time at home with her family and was especially close to her granddaughter, Kylah. She had a fun and friendly personality and was immediately liked by everyone who met her.

Dawn is survived by her mother, Joanne O'Leary; her daughter, Sherry Coughlin; grandchildren, Kylah and Anthony; four sisters, Deb Skorupski, Pat Whitcher, Lily Ally and Anne Birk; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Donald O'Leary.

services: A memorial gathering will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. Private burial will take place Wednesday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford.
