HOOKSETT - Dorothy L. Lecuyer, 89, of Hooksett, died Aug. 10, 2013, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Manchester.

Dorothy was born on Feb. 6, 1924, in Manchester, the daughter of William and Nellie (MacDonald) Wing. She attended Concord schools.
She served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Cathedral in Manchester. She loved all of her family and enjoyed the times she had with them.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Clarence, Della, Helen, and Richard.
Members of her family include her daughter Linda Laforge and her husband Francis of Hooksett, a daughter Sandra Tessier and her husband Richard of Bedford. She had two sons Daniel Kazmirchuk, and George Lecuyer and his wife Linda of Manchester. She had 10 grandchildren, Deborah (Tessier) Toothaker, Vicki Bidot, Francis Laforge III, Patrick Laforge, Krissie Kazmirchuk, Kevin Kazmirchuk, Michael Lecuyer, Matthew Lecuyer, Bianca Toomey and Frankie Toomey. She had 22 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren, a brother Joseph Wescott of Concord, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Chapel on Lowell Street in Manchester. Urn burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, 03104 or to the VA Pallative Care Fund, c/o VA Med Ctr, 718 Smyth Road, Manchester, 03104. Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
