MANCHESTER - Geraldine Beauchemin, 85, of Manchester, died Dec. 18, 2012, at Hanover Hill Healthcare, following a long illness.

Mrs. Beauchemin was born in Manchester, Aug. 30, 1927, the daughter of William and Cecile (LeBlanc) Pratt. She attended local schools and was a lifelong resident of this city.
She worked as a food server at St. Anselm College for many years prior to her retirement. She was a frequent visitor to the Precious Blood Monastery.
Geraldine's pride and joy was her family, especially her grandson.
She was the widow of Paul H. Beauchemin, former Manchester police officer, and was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Pratt, and two sisters, Claire LaDuke and Rita Ducharme.
Members of her family include her son, Paul J. Beauchemin, and his wife, Debbie, of Singer Island, Fla.; her grandson, John P. Beauchemin of Florida; two brothers, William Pratt of Florida and Gerard Pratt of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A calling hour will be Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Durning, Bykowski & Young Funeral Home, 285 Manchester St., corner of Beech Street, followed by a funeral Mass of Christian burial at noon at the Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelly Street.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Precious Blood Monastery, 700 Bridge St., Manchester, 03104.
