MANCHESTER - Jeannine (Petit) Turgeon, 83, of Manchester died March 18, 2013, at the Laurel Center.

She was a lifelong resident of Manchester, born in Manchester on Jan. 18, 1930, the daughter of the late Thuribe and Estelle (Monty) Petit.
She was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church.
Jeannine loved to entertain and socialize with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and music.
She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Aldege W. Turgeon in 2005 and her sister, Theresa Turgeon.
Surviving family members include her daughters, Constance Cohorn of Tennessee, Denise Cassidy of Florida and Jacqueline Hannagan of Kingston; sons, John Turgeon of Goffstown and Dennis Turgeon of Manchester; sister, Pauline (Petit) Blouin of Florida; brother, Norman Petit of Manchester; her four beloved grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will be dearly missed.
The family wishes to extend a very special thanks to Lorraine Petit for the care, support and spiritual gifts she gave and also to the nurses at the Laurel Center for their love and support.
SERVICES: A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to any worthy
