SHP, which started in Jack's garage, grew significantly over the years and now employs 30 people at its current location in Wilton. Jack served on the board of New England Psychiatric Association and was active in the Nashua chapter of the Alliance for the Mentally Ill and Community Council.
He loved to hunt and fish and went on many expeditions with family and friends. Lake Katahdin, Lake Winnipesaukee and the Connecticut Lakes were a few of his favorite destinations.
He played the saxophone and as a youth frequently performed in his father's band, the Jimmy Pollock Orchestra. In more recent years he was a member of the American Legion Band in Hudson.
