John Donegan Obituary
He was born Nov. 9, 1918, in Lynn, Mass., the son of Carroll Francis and Mary Ellen (Flynn) Donegan. He graduated from Lynn English High School in 1936, graduated Salem Teachers College in 1940, and Boston University in 1942.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was married to Flora M. Hayman on March 27, 1943, in Philadelphia. He taught for 36 years in the Springfield School System.
He is survived by two sons, J. Richard Donegan of Litchfield, N.H., and David C. Donegan of Groton, N.H.; one daughter, Jane Canale of Seymour, Conn.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

SERVICES: Friends may call at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Davis Memorial Chapel.
