MANCHESTER - Kaliope (Kally) Millios, 89, of Manchester, died Nov. 30, 2012, at the Ridgewood Health Care Center, Bedford.

Mrs. Millios was born in Manchester on Oct. 17, 1923, and was the daughter of Nicholas and Alexandra (Venetsianos) Bountis. She was the widow of George S. Millios who died Sept. 25, 2011. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral and held membership in the Anagenesis Society. Mrs. Millios, had been the secretary at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral for over 30 years. Earlier in her life she was employed with J.F. McElwain Shoe Co. Her grandchildren brought her great joy in life. She enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods over the years.
Members of the family include her two sons, Spiro Millios and his wife Maria, of Manchester, and Bill Millios and his wife Valerie, of Fremont; three grandchildren, Stephanie Millios, George Millios and Paul Millios; also several nephews, nieces and cousins.
services: Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Cain & Janosz Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 74 Brook St., corner of Pine Street. The Trisagion service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery.
