DERRY - Kenneth R. Moreau, 65, of Derry, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 9, 1948, in Waterville, Maine, a son of the late Rudolph and Noella (Maillet) Moreau. Mr. Moreau proudly served his country during Vietnam in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Winslow, Maine, VFW Post No. 8835 and the Middleton, Mass., American Legion Post 227. Kenneth was a drummer his whole life and played in numerous bands. He enjoyed R/C aircraft. He loved camping with his family. Kenneth was passionate about everything he did in his life. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Compassionate Care Hospice and a kind thank you to Heritage Plumbing and Horizon Technologies for their support.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Neal) Moreau, two daughters, Lisa Hyson and her fiancé Daryl O'Donnell Sr. and Jessica Hyson and her fiancé Raymond Berard Jr.; four grandchildren, Daryl Jr., Karagin, Destiney and Jemma, two brothers, Mark Moreau and Gary Moreau, two sisters, Debbie Bosse and Ann Richards, four nieces and nephews, Joey and Leanne Moreau and Craig and Kayla Richards, as well as several cousins.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 4 to 5 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 5 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry.
