MANCHESTER - Konstantinos E. Zisis, 77, of Manchester, died Nov. 29, 2012, at Elliot Hospital, after a period of declining health.

Born in Drakotripa, Greece, on April 17, 1935, he was the son of Evangelos and Vasiliki Zisis. He resided in Manchester since 1976.
He worked at Amoskeag Leather Company and later at Waumbec Mill until his retirement.
He was an active member of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. He was a lifetime member of the Pericles Club.
A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, his family was the center of his life. He enjoyed playing cards at the coffee house.
He was married 53 years to Marianthi (Argeros) Zisis. She died May 12, 2012.
Family members include two daughters, Amalia Kostakis of Manchester and Anastacia Zisis and her husband, Dimitrios Kostakis, of Manchester; his son, Evangelos Zisis of Manchester; four grandchildren, Pano, Daylen, Maria, and Stacey; two great-grandchildren, Haley and Jordan; two sisters, Fotini Athanasiou and Eleftheria Kelipouris, both of Greece; several nieces and nephews.
services: Calling hours are Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union St., corner of Concord and Union streets, Manchester.
The Trisagion service will take place Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 111 Island Pond Road, Manchester, with the Rev. Athanasios Nenes officiating. Burial will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
