Lawrence Friling Obituary
FREDRICKSBURG, Va. -- Lawrence Aaron Friling, 71, of Spotsylvania County, died April 2, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and a lifelong hunting, boating and fishing enthusiast. He was a research physicist for the University of New Hampshire Space Science Center and Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln Labs.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary J. Friling; his children, Diane L. Friling, Barbara F. Johnson and Richard L. Friling; his grandchildren, Allen Friling and Nicole Waldron; and his great-grandchild, Autumn Paige Waldron.
SERVICES: Services will be private.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Trudy Clifton, 113 Tallpines Ave., Locust Grove, VA 22508.

Dear Mary and family, I am still under shock from the message that Larry passed away. Guess at our age we imagine that life should just go on and on.
