LONDONDERRY - Leo Odilon Gosselin, 80, of Londonderry, passed Monday March 11, 2013, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester after a lengthy illness.

He was born June 1, 1932, in Manchester and was a son of the late Odilon and Yvonne (Durette) Gosselin. Leo was raised and educated in Manchester prior to moving to Litchfield in 1950. He relocated to Nashua in 1965, and had been a resident of Londonderry since 1973.

Leo was a local businessman, having operated several businesses in the area, including Gosselin's Poultry Farm on Litchfield, Nashua Modern Cleaning Service and Star Wash Mobile Truck cleaning. He also owned commercial property in the Nashua area. Leo was a longtime communicant and usher at St. Jude Parish of Londonderry, a charter member of St. Jude Council 6949 Knights of Columbus of Londonderry and Council 5260 of Manchester; he was also a longtime Boy Scout coordinator with the Daniel Webster Council, BSA. Leo enjoyed embroidery, and was very dedicated to the church and to helping others.

Members of the family include his wife of 47 years, Constance (Ivon) Gosselin of Londonderry; a sister, Priscilla Lavoie, of Merrimack; two brothers, George Gosselin, of Francestown and Jean Gosselin and his wife, Louise of Goffstown, a godchild, Nichols Gosselin of Goffstown, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his stepmother, Claire (Durette) Gosselin.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be Sunday, March 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, March 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Jude Parish 435 Mammoth Rd.
