FRANKLIN - Lorraine I. Plummer, 93, formerly of Bristol, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Franklin Regional Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Lawrence, Mass., the daughter of Athanase and Eva (Dubois) Verrier. She grew up in Lawrence, Mass. and later met and married Walter Plummer. Together, they returned to his hometown of Bristol, and celebrated over 60 years of marriage.
Lorraine was a long time member of Enterprise Rebekah Lodge #46 of Bristol. She was also a faithful and active communicant of St. Timothy Church.Family members include a daughter, Elaine Kahigian of Haverhill, Mass.; a son, Carl Plummer of San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Walter, a son Kenneth Plummer, daughter Carol Plummer (Tomkiewicz) and a grandson.

services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday June 26, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Chapel of Holy Trinity Parish, 2 West Shore Road, Bristol. The Rev. Leo LeBlanc will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a breast cancer research organization.
