MANCHESTER - Marjorie Patricia (Cavanaugh) Chase passed away peacefully on Dec. 29, 2012, after a brief illness.

She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Orrin "Herb" Chase, and their son, Edward Chase. She is survived by one daughter, Christine Chase; a grandson, Jacob Chase O'Neil and his wife, Lauren and two grandsons, Trevor and Conrad O'Neil, all from Essex Junction Vt. Marjorie also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
In her lifetime, Marjorie was actively involved in several organizations. She ran a 4H group for young girls, was a member of the Lake Shore Extension group, volunteered and served on the board of the Elliott Hospital Senior Associates and volunteered for the Salvation Army.
In recent years, Marjorie enjoyed the fun and friendships she made at Meetinghouse Senior Living Community. Her sweet smile and cheery disposition will be missed by all who knew her.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 12, 2013, in St. Peter's Church in Auburn, followed by a brunch and gathering of family and friends.
