MARBLEHEAD, Mass. - Mary E. (Dolan) deBettencourt, 96, of Marblehead, and formerly of West Newton, Mass., and Needham, Mass., died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012.

She was the wife of the late Dr. Joseph T. deBettencourt. She was the mother of Diane "Dee" and her husband, John Vigneron, of Marblehead, and their children, Kevin of Dorchester and Chrissy of South Boston; Joseph and his wife, Nancy deBettencourt, and their children Christian of Chicago and Catherine "Kiki" of St. Louis, Mo.; and the late John deBettencourt and his wife, Cindy O'Brien, and his daughters, Nicole Browning and Michelle Bouchard and their husbands, all of Manchester, N.H.; along with five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

services: Visitation will be on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (corner of North Street), Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 81 Atlantic Ave., Marblehead. Interment will be on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Cemetery, 1 Wellesley Ave., Needham.
