Maureen Burgess Obituary

MERRIMACK - Maureen "Poo" Christine Burgess, 64, of Merrimack, passed away on Dec. 16, 2012, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

She was born on Nov. 16, 1948, in Nashua, daughter of the (late) John and Alice (Kasper) Burke.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Samantha Bilodeau and a sister, Cynthia Landry.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Rick of Merrimack; three sons, Richard Powell, Jr., of Florida, Toby Burgess and his fiance, Ashley and Ricky Burgess, Jr., and his wife, Kelly, both of Manchester; a daughter, Jodi Boisvert of Manchester; six grandchildren, Rylee Pierce Burgess, Isabella Boisvert, Stefanie Martel, Cote Bilodeau, Alyssa Trembley, and Kayla and her husband, Ben Dempsey; two brothers, John "Jack" Burke and his wife, Patricia of Arizona and Thomas Burke and his wife, Pauline of Nashua; a sister, Mary Burke of Milford; a brother-in-law, Raymond Landry of Nashua; best friend Paula Castranova and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours.A celebration of life will be held on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Post 98, 43 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack.

For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 98, Po Box 266, Merrimack 03054.
