MANCHESTER - MerryLee (Hanson) Stevens, 71, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Tolbert H. Stevens, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Catholic Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Charlestown, Mass., MerryLee was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lila May Hanson.
A devoted mother, Merry-Lee took great pride in the accomplishments of all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting blankets, made special for each one of them. In her spare time, MerryLee and her friends went to the casino for a girls' night out. Her kind heart and social-butterfly spirit led her to meet friends wherever she went, always talking to strangers or lending a helping hand. MerryLee's sense of adventure was second to none. She loved to travel across the country, seeing new things and meeting new people. MerryLee will best be remembered for her generosity and ability to be the glue that held the family together for so many loving years. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
MerryLee is survived by her son, Mark and his wife, Tanya, of Lynn, Mass.; her three daughters, Donna Stevens of North Andover, Mass., Patricia Stevens of North Andover, Mass., and Christine Bone and her husband, Michael, of Manchester; her grandchildren, Mark Stevens and his wife, Krystal, of Lynn, Mass., Nathan Stevens of Lynn, Mass., Kyle Robins of North Andover, Mass., Kayleen Stevens of Lynn, Mass., Emily Bone and Abigail Bone, both of Manchester; three great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends. In addition to her dear husband, MerryLee was predeceased by her two brothers, Richard and Robert Cleveland.
services: Her funeral services will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. Visitation will be Monday, July 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. The memorial service will be Tuesday, July 2, 10 to 11 a.m., followed by committal at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave., Manchester, at 11:30 a.m. Friends and relatives are invited.
