LONDONDERRY - Michael Campbell, 58, of Londonderry, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, following a brief illness.

He was born on June 12, 1954, in Glasgow, Scotland, a son of Michael "John" Campbell and the late Annie W. (Johnston) Campbell. Michael moved to the United States with his family when he was young, settling in Derry, where he spent his childhood. He served in the U.S Navy. He enjoyed playing the drums and singing with a number of different bands and was an avid Beatles fan. He loved the White Mountains, cooking for family and friends and traveling. Michael had a great sense of humor, which he kept right until the very end. He will be sadly missed by many friends.
