Goffstown - Patricia Ann Decknick passed away June 15, 2012, surrounded by her loving children, following a short, but serious illness.

A devoted mother and grandmother, "Nanny" will be dearly missed. Pat was born Feb. 25, 1938, one of 14 children. She grew up in Quincy, Mass., and worked in Boston prior to meeting and marrying the love of her life, John C. Decknick.
Pat spent years volunteering as a Brownie leader, helping out with church bingo, working at the school and attending every possible sporting event with her own children as well as for her 19 grandchildren, Courtney Jardine, John Decknick Jr., Brittany Jardine, Jarred Gagnon, Jason Gagnon, Paul Decknick, Kristi Decknick Severns, Josh Decknick, Luke McDade, Brianne McDade, Jacob Gagnon, Phil Decknick, Bailey McDade, Taylor Decknick, Jeffrey Bausch, Evan McDade, Alex Bausch, Griffin Bausch and Emma Bausch.
Pat, a good friend to many, will be dearly missed by the entire community.
Pat is survived by her six children and their loved ones, John (Sammie), Mary (John), Shirley (Jim), James (Melissa), Trish (Vincent), and Joan (Jeff); as well as her 19 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. Pat also leaves behind her sister, Shirley, and her brothers, Roger and Alan. She is predeceased by her husband, John, and great-granddaughter, Lola Nicole.
The family would like to especially thank the Elliot Hospital Fitch Unit hospital staff and the Manchester visiting nurses (both home health and hospice) for their loving care and gentle treatment of their Mom.
