MANCHESTER - Raymond L. Brow, 95, of Manchester, died Sept. 17, 2013, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home.

He was born in Chicopee, Mass., on Aug. 17, 1918, the son of Louis and Lula (Samson) Brow. He had been a Manchester resident most of his life.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Raymond worked for several area construction companies as an architectural draftsman and estimator.

He had a passion for flying and airplanes.

He had been married 71 years to Rejeanne (Letendre) Brow, who died in 2012.

He leaves a son, Russell D. Brow and his wife, Louise, of Manchester; a daughter, Raina Brow of Manchester; a granddaughter, Christina Brow and her husband, Ryan Gwillim, of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Irene Roberts of Springfield, Mass.; nieces and nephews.


services: Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at Parish of the Transfiguration. Encryptment will follow in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
