MANCHESTER - Richard E. Cloutier, 70, died July 27, surrounded by his family after a period of declining health.

He was born in Manchester on April 13, 1942, to Ernest and Jeannette (Marion) Cloutier. He graduated from West High School and was a lifelong resident of this city.
Richard owned and operated Sol-R-Sash Inc. for many years.
He was a communicant of Parish of the Transfiguration and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and boating. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and for always being the life of the party.
He leaves his wife of 50 years, Doris (Bilodeau) Cloutier, of Manchester; four children, Annette T. Sparling of Palm City, Fla., Pauline E. Soucy and her husband, Michael, of Raymond, Pattyann J. Labrie and her husband, Daniel, of Manchester, and Jacqueline D. Roy and her husband, Andrew, of Hooksett; eight grandchildren, Roger Soucy, Alicia Soucy, Brianne Roy, William Soucy, Eagle Scout Justin Labrie, Alexander Roy, Riley Soucy and Sarah Sparling; two great-grandchildren, Annabella and Anastasia Soucy; his brother, Judge Raymond Cloutier and his wife, Teresa, of Goffstown; his sister, Dorothy Parks and her husband, Warren, of Bedford; and nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the
