MANCHESTER - Sister Rita Dutilly, CSC, (Sr. Mary Claude-Bernard), 92, of the Sisters of Holy Cross in Manchester, died May 11, 2013, at Elliot Hospital.

She was born in Somersworth on Dec. 6, 1920, to Hervey and Rosalie (Dolbec) Dutilly. She served in the Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Cross for 69 years, entering in 1944 and making her final profession in 1951.
Sr. Rita earned a bachelor's degree in education from Notre Dame College in Manchester. She taught in parochial elementary schools in New Hampshire at Manchester, Nashua, Rochester, Somersworth and West Franklin and in Springfield, Mass., and St. Laurent, Quebec, Canada.
She also worked in health care as a licensed nursing assistant at St. George Manor and Holy Cross Health Center for several years. She retired to St. George Manor in 2002.
The family includes a sister, Sr. Lucille Dutilly, CSC and nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at St. George Manor, 357 Island Pond Road, Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of St. George Manor. Burial will be at St. Augustin Cemetery, South Beech Street, Manchester.
