CONCORD - Robert Arsneault, 77, of Old Suncook Road, a resident of Loudon for almost 50 years, died Dec. 28, 2010, at CRVNA Hospice House.
He was born in Penacook to Arthur and Josephine (Landry) Arsenault.
He was a graduate of St. John High School where he was co-captain of the football team and also played basketball.
He worked as a butcher in many of the supermarkets in the Concord area.
He was an avid sports fan, and collected coins and stamps.
IN HIS LIFE: Family members include five children: Debra Harbour and her husband Mark, of Boscawen; Donna Flanders of Concord; David Arsenault and his wife Allyson of Loudon; Darlene Dorr and her husband David of Eldersburg, Md..; 11 grandchildren: Jared, Jillian, Nicole, Andrea, Dennis, Michael, Jessica, Justin, Emily, Dylan and Nathan; one great-granddaughter, Cassidie; a brother, Michael Arsenault of Concord; one sister, Irene Lemay of Suncook; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Bobbi Jo Arsneault; his brothers and sisters, Lorraine Croteau, Marlene Diggins, Mary Jane Abbott, Joanne Smallidge, Richard Arsenault and three brothers and sisters that died in infancy.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 72 South Main Street, Concord.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
