CONCORD - Robert G. Foley, 79, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a brief illness.

Born in Concord, he was the son of Norman and Florence Williams.
Robert attended Concord High School. He worked for several years at Goulet Supply Co. He worked for Unitil in Concord for 17 years until his retirement. After his retirement he worked part time as a courier. At his last job he worked for Northeast Pharmacy Services in Concord.
He served a total of 30 years in the Army, National Guard and Army Reserves 167th CSG, retiring as a master sergeant. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Masons.
Robert enjoyed cooking. Wherever he worked he was always known to show up with plates of hot food for all to enjoy. He enjoyed camping, traveling, golf, NASCAR and spending time with family, friends and, most of all, his two grandsons.
Wherever he went, he always seemed to make a friend.
Survivors include his wife Ann B. Foley of Concord; his daughter Tina M. Richardson and her husband Welcome; one sister, Judith Mandigo and her husband Richard; two grandsons, Spc. Sean P. Glass and Hunter M. Glass; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
services: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.
A celebration of his life will take place on Friday, Aug. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Concord.
