MANCHESTER - Robert L. Pouliot, 81, of Manchester, died Aug. 5, 2012, at St. Teresa Manor after a period of declining health.

He was born in Manchester on Feb. 2, 1931, to Ludger and Dora (Corriveau) Pouliot. He lived in Manchester for most of his life and had wintered in Margate, Fla., for many years.
During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Pouliot was co-owner of Wayne's Mobile Glass in Manchester for many years.
He was a longtime communicant of the former St. Therese Church where he served on the parish council for many years. He was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans, American Legion Sweeney Post and the Association of Commercial Franco Americans.
He enjoyed traveling and lobster bakes at family gatherings.
The family includes his wife of 57 years, Paulette (Arel) Pouliot of Manchester; five children, Doreen D. Remillard and her husband, Paul, of Manchester, Diane L. Cooley of Dover, Roch R. Pouliot and his wife, Sandy, of Pembroke, and Mary Ann C. Heustis and Nicole D. Clegg and her husband, Edward, all of Manchester; 11 grandchildren: Jennifer, Corinne, Craig, Cheryl, Ryan, Ashley, Kayla, Seth, Alyssa, Nathan and Emily; two great-grandchildren, Jon and Phoebe; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, corner of Webster and Hemlock streets, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mount Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester.
