AMHERST - Roberta "Bobbie" Rose, of Amherst, passed on Dec. 12, 2012, at The Elms Health Care Center in Milford.

Mrs. Rose was born in Groveland, Mass., a daughter of Robert and Ruby (Yeo) Thurlow and had been an Amherst resident for many years.
Mrs. Rose was a longtime active junior bowling coach, having been inducted into the New Hampshire-United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame in 2009.
Mrs. Rose had been a music director and organist at many area churches throughout the years and was a juried member of the Lexington Arts & Crafts Society.
Family includes her husband of 57 years, William E. Rose Jr.; three children, Elaine J. Rose, John T. Rose and David A. Rose and his wife, Linda.
services: Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cate & Johnson Funeral Home, 573 Pine St., corner of Harrison Street in Manchester.
The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 43 Wheeler Road in Hollis. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery in Groveland, Mass.
