B O W - Roger E. "Gus" Labrie, 65, of Bow, passed away after a brief illness on Nov. 2, 2012.

He was born in Concord, on April 8, 1947, to Ernest and Rita (Begin) Labrie.

Gus founded his business R. E. Labrie Masonry LLC in 1972. What started as a small residential business grew into a commercial masonry company. In 1974, he married his best friend Mary Carmen Freije. As they began their life together, Gus built the house they would call home for the next 37 years.

Gus made his mark on this world through his talent as a skilled mason, constructing magnificent buildings such as St. Paul's School, Veteran's Cemetery, Portsmouth Transportation Center, and the Concord Co-Op, among many others. Gus was his happiest in a baseball cap, with his wife and his dog Mica by his side.

He loved sports, boating on Newfound Lake, his family and dear friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Carmen; his mother, Rita; a sister, Jeanne Torpey; two brothers, Donald and William Labrie; nieces; nephews; grandnieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Mica.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest.
