LITCHFIELD - Sharon L. (Donahue) Beebie, 59, of Litchfield and Lowell, Mass., wife of Russell J. Beebie, Jr., passed away Jan. 6, 2013, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass.,, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Born in Providence, R.I. on March 19, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie (Lapointe) Donahue. During her youth, Sharon resided in Lowell, Mass., and was a graduate of Lowell High School class of 1971.
Mrs. Beebie had been employed as a program manager with Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard, Mass., and Salem, N.H., for 20 years. She later worked as a medical biller for several medical firms.
Sharon was an avid reader and loved animals, especially her dogs, Shayla and Shannon. She also enjoyed traveling to Hawaii.
Members of her family include her husband, Russ, with whom she shared 20 years together; her mother-in-law, Claire I. Beebie of Litchfield; two sisters-in-law, Elaine L. Elliott and her husband, Garry of Haverhill and Karen M. Beebie of Litchfield; two nieces, Carol Elliott of Haverhill and Hannah Elliott of Dover and a nephew, Benjamin Elliott of Puerto Rico.
SERVICES: Following cremation, calling hours will be held at the Farwell Funeral Home, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, on Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m.
A celebration of her life will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Margaret E. Lewis will officiate. Friends are invited to attend.
