ROCHESTER - Theresa Claire (Ouelette) Gagne, 86, of Prospect Street, died Feb. 21, 2013, at Rochester Manor.

Theresa was born Jan. 15, 1927, in Nashua, daughter of the late David and Alice (Levesque) Ouelette. She grew up in Nashua and has lived in Rochester all of her adult life. Theresa was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her pets and kept busy with her hobbies and crossword puzzles.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Gagne, in 1999; her brother, Roland Ouelette, in 1969; a sister, Yvonne Tremblay, in 1999; and a daughter-in-law, Deborah Gagne, in 2004. She is survived by two sons, Gerard D. Gagne of Lake Villa, Ill., and Richard A. Gagne and his wife, Jeanne, of Rochester; a daughter, Denise Claire Hussey and Greg Henderon of Wachula, Fla.; a sister, Claire Provencher of Manchester; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.


services: Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at Grondin Funeral Home, 177 N. Main St., Rochester. A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at St. Mary's Church in Rochester. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery in the spring.
