FREMONT - Therese Carmelle Lavoie, 84, died peacefully surrounded by her family, on Jan. 20, 2013, at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont.

She was born on Jan. 11, 1929, in Saint-Pacome, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Elzear and Auxiliatrice Ouellet.
She lived in Epping for 64 years, since the age of 14, before moving to Fremont. Therese worked many years for Regis Tannery and National Shoe. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Epping and was also a member of the Women's Club.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Carmelle (Lavoie) Morrison of Rochester; and her four sons, Michael Lavoie of Nottingham, Gregory Lavoie of Nottingham, Patrick Lavoie of Barrington, and Dennis Lavoie of Concord; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Therese enjoyed gardening, bird-watching, summers at the lake, and spending time with her family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home for their loving care of Therese.
services: Private services will be held in the summer in order to accommodate the wishes of Therese. Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, is assisting with the arrangements.
