MANCHESTER -- Theresa L. Bibeau, 81, died April 10, 2011, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, after a long illness.
She was born on June 7, 1929, in Hooksett, to Harry and Cecile (Beauregard) Smith. She moved from Hooksett to Nashua at an early age and resided in the Gate City for more than 60 years before relocating to Manchester.
She was educated in the Nashua school system. She worked briefly for Sprague Electric but her true vocation was that of a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Family members include sons Leonard Bibeau of Indianapolis and Donald Bibeau of Hampton; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brother Maurice Smith of Nashua; and sisters Doris LeBlanc of Lady Lake, Fla., Helen Fraser of Nashua and Simonne Bouley of Pembroke.
She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Rene Bibeau, in1982, daughter Marlene Bibeau in 1999 and son Armand Bibeau in 2010.
SERVICES: Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at St. Laurent Funeral Home, 116 Elm St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Church. Burial will follow in St. Louis De Gonzague Cemetery, Nashua.
