MANCHESTER - Pauline N. Allen, 59, died July 7, 2011, peacefully at home.
She had been battling three cancers for eight years and fighting metastatic cancer over the past two years.
She was the daughter of the late Fern and Theresa Rouillard.
She was a graduate of St. Anthony High School and attended the University of New Hampshire and Merrimack Valley College. She was fully certified by the Dale Carnegie Institute.
During her career she managed two floral and craft businesses and had been a caregiver for many elderly people and children. She had also been employed by Nickels Investigations, Alltex, New England Telephone Co. and AT&T.
She was active in many church activities, committees and social events at St. Augustin and St. Anthony parishes. Most recently she was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Parish. She taught Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) for 16 years and managed Bingo for eight years. She was a member of the Consoler's Group and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She was a loving homemaker for 24 years.
Family members include her husband, Thomas J. Allen; three brothers; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester. Committal prayers will be offered at Mount Calvary Mausoleum Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Sisters of the Precious Blood, 700 Bridge St., Manchester NH 03104. Condolences may be offered at. The McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., Manchester, has been entrusted with arrangements.
