HOPKINTON - Phyllis J. Turner, age 93, of Hopkinton Road died on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones at CRVNA Hospice House.She was born in Manchester, on Oct. 9, 1920 the daughter of the late Max and Rose (Naeck) Hoffman. She was a graduate of Manchester West High School class of 1938. In 1940 she married Lionel Beliveau and they had three children. Lionel passed away in 1949. Phyllis raised her children and in 1977 she married James Turner, a former classmate. They enjoyed 38 years together, traveling to Alaska, Australia, Bermuda, Hawaii, Canada and various places in the U.S. Phyllis and Jim spent many wonderful hours with the Senior Citizen group in Hopkinton. They were active members of the Central NH Covair Association. They enjoyed attending many car shows and conventions.Phyllis had a great love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.She is survived by her loving husband James of Hopkinton; two daughters, Joan (Beliveau) McCullough and her husband William of York, Maine, Constance (Beliveau) DuBeau of Orlando, Fla. and daughter-in-law Linda (Davis) Beliveau of Hooksett; six grandchildren, Kevin McCullough and wife Rachel, Kellie McCullough, Jodi (DuBeau) Oliver and husband Jimmy; Kristy (Beliveau) Laroche, Jennifer (DuBeau) Hedrick and husband Matt, Jonathan Beliveau; 10 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.Phyllis was predeceased by her son Norman Beliveau; her sister, Marjorie (Hoffman) Wilson; two brothers, Max Hoffman and Ralph Norbert Hoffman who passed away at the age of 5.


services: At Phyllis's' request visiting hours will not be held.A funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord. The Rev. Gordon Crouch will officiate.Burial will be at a later date in the Contoocook Cemetery, Contoocook.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CRVNA Hospice House, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord 03301.
