NASHUA - Lynn Stermensky, 58, of Nashua, died unexpectedly on Sunday March 9, 2014 at the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua following a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 1, 1955 in Hackensack, N.J. daughter of Betty (Raud) Stermensky of Waldwick, N.J. and the late Joseph Stermensky.
Lynn was the wife of Bill Murphy of Nashua, with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.
In her life, Lynn was employed for over 15 years with Nashua Regional Cancer Center as a radiation therapist. She was a strong, caring, and compassionate woman who cared deeply for her family, friends, and patients. Lynn enjoyed kayaking, walking in the woods, snowshoeing, and relaxing in the mountains. She was also an avid photographer of the outdoors and wildlife.
Besides her loving husband and dear mother, survivors include her twin sons; Trevor Murphy and Brett Murphy, both of Nashua, two step daughters; Kelley Holmes and her husband Michael of Malone, N.Y., Tracey Woods Andrews and her husband Jeffrey of Sanford, Maine, a stepson; Brian Woods and his wife Rebecca of Canaan, a brother; Scott Stermensky of Margale, Fla., a sister; Mary Aiosa and her husband Mark of Waldwick, N.J., as well as eight step grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
services: Viewing hours will be Thursday, March 13, 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., Hudson. Following cremation, burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Lynn's loving memory to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O.
