MANCHESTER - Our beloved Jacqueline Monty Rivard of Manchester departed her earthly life of 82 years on the morning of Sunday, March 30, 2014. As a woman who possessed a strong, abiding faith, she was well-prepared to greet Jesus when He welcomed her to His eternal home.Jackie was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence Monty and the widow of Mike Rivard. Her immediate family includes two daughters, Judy Rivard Caron and Joy Rivard, both of Manchester, and one sister, Janet Monty Follansbee and her husband, Kenneth, of Frisco, Texas.She was Mimi to four grandchildren, Emily and Michael Caron and Meghan and Jessie Barry. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, a baby grandnephew, cousins, and a host of friends, including her lifelong best friend, Mariette Brissette.Jackie was well-known in the Manchester area as a longtime beautician and former owner of the Jolie Madame Beauty Salon and the Hairloom. Until recently, she worked at her profession on a part-time basis. SERVICES: The family will welcome visitors on Friday, April 4, at Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., in Jackie's hometown of Suncook. Calling hours shall be from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m. In celebration of a life well-lived, the Rev. Monsignor Paul Bouchard will preside at the memorial Mass to be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Suncook's Main Street.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Families in Transition.
