MANCHESTER - Mary P. Kelly, 83, of Manchester, passed away in the evening of April 10, 2014, at the Mount Carmel Nursing Home.A lifelong resident of the Queen City, she was born here on July 9, 1930, the daughter of Dennis F. and Mary D. (Boardman) Quinn.Mary was educated in St. Raphael School and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School for Girls, Class of 1948. She married Richard T. Kelly and enjoyed 35 years of marriage until his passing on Feb. 10, 1995.She was employed in the office of Travelers Insurance Company for 14 years until 1963 when her oldest son, John, was born. Mary was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph Cathedral parish.She is survived by her two loving sons, John D. Kelly and Thomas A. Kelly, both of Manchester; a brother Dennis P. Quinn of Latrobe, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

services: Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech Street. A visitation period will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Mount Carmel Home, 235 Myrtle St. followed by the celebration of a Mass of Christian burial in the chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.In lieu of flowers donations in Mary's name may be made to Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 235 Myrtle St., Manchester 03104.
