MANCHESTER - Mildred "Milly" Boone, 89, of Manchester, passed away April 15, 2014.

She was born Aug. 18, 1924, in Manchester, a daughter of John and Klimka (Paskolska) Maznek and had been a lifelong resident of this community.
Milly was a 1942 graduate of Central High School and a member of the reunion committee. She attended the U.S. School of Cost Accounting and the Manchester branch of the University of New Hampshire.
Milly worked for several years at New England Telephone Company as well as the N.H. Department of Employment Security as trainer of Employment Department personnel. She retired from Bankeast Bank with 20 years of service.
Milly was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star and White Shrine organizations. She was artistically talented and very much enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Family includes her husband of 68 years, Ray Boone of Manchester; two daughters, Lois Eastman of Rockland, Maine, and Susan Klaubert and her husband, Chuck of Goffstown; three grandchildren, Stephanie Burnham and her husband Jay, Erik Klaubert, and Jeffrey Eastman and his wife Angie; one great-grandson, Gunner Burnham; a brother, Paul Maznek of Manchester; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
Milly was predeceased by a brother, Nicholas Maznek and a sister, Mary Maciejewski.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Cate & Johnson Funeral Home, 573 Pine St., corner of Harrison Street in Manchester.
Graveside service will be conducted on Monday at 12:30 p.m. at N.H. Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
