Goffstown - Roger F. Cote, 89, of Goffstown died April 18, 2014, after a period of declining health.He was born in Manchester on July 16, 1924, the son of Onil and Lumina (Schambier) Cote. Roger was a graduate of Manchester High School Central and a lifelong resident of the area. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Panama during World War II.Most of Roger's working career was spent as the owner of the Roger F. Cote Insurance Agency Inc., and he was very active in the Manchester community. Roger's favorite pastime was sailing and enjoying his friendships at the Massabesic Yacht Club.Family members include his son, Roger B. "Rick," and wife Kathleen Cote of Cape Coral, Fla.; his daughter, Diane, and husband Raymond Ayotte of Hooksett; four grandchildren, Sean, Rick and Emily Cote, and Tanya Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Corianna Cote, and Liam and Hazen Johnson; two great-great-grandchildren, Addison and Charli Lynn Cote; and his longtime best friend, Joanne Otting..
