HOOKSETT - Robert L. Wszolek, (aka Bobby/Whiskey), 68, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, surrounded by family and friends at Elliot Hospital, after a period of declining health.He was born Jan. 7, 1946, in Palmer, Mass., and was the son of Stephen and Lillian (Ducey) Wszolek.Mr. Wszolek served four years in the U.S. Navy on the USS Hermitage LSD-34 stationed in the Mediterranean; he was a licensed certified "Drain Doctor" (plumber) and worked for the VA Hospital for 33 years.He lived most of his life in New Hampshire. He was a member of the Sweeney Post 2 and Post 79. He loved the ocean, was especially fond of the Blues, enjoyed singing and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will forever be remembered as a loving son, partner, nephew, cousin and friend.Mr. Wszolek is survived by his companion of many years, Lucille Johnson; aunt Helen Gelinas; cousins Nancy, Donna, Paula, Mary-Lu, Cheryl, Rudy, Bill and Alan; Lucille's children and grandchildren; many longtime friends, as well as his beloved cat, Russell. He will be truly missed by all who know and love him..

services: A graveside service will be held with full military honors on Monday, April 28, at noon at the Johnson Cemetery, 24 Buzzell Hill Road, Weare.Memorial donations may be made to the , P.O.
