HOOKSETT - Francis J. "Frank" Pineau, 82, of Hooksett, formerly of Coolidge Avenue in Manchester, passed away at Catholic Medical Center on April 21, 2014, with his beloved wife, Lorraine, by his side, the day before their 47th wedding anniversary.Frank attended Northeastern University on a baseball scholarship, earning his bachelor's degree in psychology. Later, he matriculated to the University of New Hampshire, achieving a master's degree in occupational education.A retired professor at N.H. Technical Institute, Frank was the head of the department for computer information systems and faculty member of the U.S. Air Force Instructor Training School. Frank was a member at Intervale Country Club and, in his earlier years, was a member of the Wilson Hill Pistol Club in Manchester.An honorably discharged veteran, Frank proudly served his country as a captain in the U.S. Air Force. A true New Englander, Frank was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, but above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.Frank is survived by his devoted wife, Lorraine J. (Raiche) Pineau; his two daughters, Lisa Campbell of Arizona and Cheryl West of California; four grandchildren; his doting niece, Tina Somers of Hooksett; his sister-in-law, Connie and husband Frank Watosky of Manchester; nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; and extended family and friends.
