Hooksett - Ronald A. Black, 68, of Hooksett died May 26, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.Born on March 27, 1946, in Manchester, he was the son of Lawrence and Helena (Foley) Black. He was educated in the local school system and attended Manchester High School West.During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Ronald was self-employed from 1968 until 2004 in the construction and demolition business. He enjoyed fishing "up north," playing horseshoes and spending time with his children and grandchildren.Family members include his wife, Deloris (Elliott) Black of Manchester; two daughters, Pamela Black of North Conway and Rhonda Black of Manchester; seven grandchildren, Nathan and Steven Johnson, Ava, Evan and Owen DeSouza, all of North Conway, and Gabriella and Piskila Mesa of Manchester; brother Kevin Black Sr. of Hooksett; sister Katherine Holmes of Exeter. He was predeceased by both parents and three brothers, Richard, Lawrence and Brian Black..

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 30, at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St., Bedford, NH 03102.
