Manchester - Margaret C. Wagenbach, 99, of Manchester, passed away on May 29, 2014, at Hanover Hill Health Care Center after a period of declining health.Peg was born on Nov. 16, 1914, in Goffe's Falls, the daughter of Edward and Lena (Govin) Come. She attended local schools and graduated from Manchester High School Central, Class of 1932A.Peg was employed by R.H. Llewellyn Co., Manchester, until she met and married the love of her life in 1948, John J. Wagenbach of Methuen, Mass. They moved to Reading, Mass., where they resided for 46 years.Mrs. Wagenbach was a charter member of St. Francis Catholic Church Guild in Goffe's Falls. She was an active member of the Garden Club in Reading, Mass., and worked at American Mutual Insurance Company in Wakefield, Mass., as an administrative assistant.Peg and her husband enjoyed swimming, boating and spent many weekends on their boat at Lake Winnipesaukee. Other vacations were spent on ocean cruises, where they enjoyed making friends and seeing much of the world.She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, in April 2004. She leaves family members and friends that include her nephew, Maurice Come; nieces, Mrs. Marilyn McClosky and Mrs. Elizabeth Lally; several grandnieces and grandnephews; and lifelong friends, the Taggart family.Special thanks and appreciation are extended to staff and friends at Meetinghouse at Riverfront for the care and companionship provided to Peg where she resided for 14 years.

services: A memorial gathering will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Monday, June 9, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. with her memorial service at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
